Our Youth Documentary profiles nine young people ages 12-18 sharing their unique Captains and Poets. Their reflections reveal the power of discovering their Leader Within and how it strengthens self-awareness, connection, resilience, agency and leadership.
It’s a worthwhile watch for adults too—inviting us to reflect on our own identity formation and imagine what it might have meant to discovery our Captain and Poet when we were young.
Created for ages 5 to 11, our animation video introduces the Captain and Poet in simple, relatable terms and is mirrored in the accompanying Picture Book. It invites children to recognize and appreciate the different strengths within themselves and to become anchored in who they are at a young age.
It’s a worthwhile watch for all ages—offering a chance to reflect on our younger selves and imagine what it might have meant to discover our Captain and Poet when we were young.
