The Primary Program contains 30 hours of content addressing comprehensive SEL competencies. The main focus is on self-awareness, social awareness, and having a positive sense of agency in the world. The Superpowers in focus are kindness, empathy, compassion, resilience, curiosity, and courage.
Lessons align to key areas of the curriculum including Literacy, The Arts (Drama, Dance, Visual Arts and Music), Social Studies, Health, and SEL curriculum. Lesson formats include video, discussion, reading, writing, role playing, personal reflection, metacognition, experiential exercises, visual arts and multi-media components. Each lesson averages 30 minutes with multiple activities available to choose from that accommodate multiple learning modalities. Included in the package are digital copies of Lessons, Worksheets, Reward Charts, Certificates, Anchor Sheets, and Exit Tickets as well as the Getting Started Guide, the Teacher’s Guide and the Positive Discipline Guide.
